Overview. BritasMedia was a new business in 1998. The business is structured as a small design consultancy offering both traditional design and digital media services and publishing. Operating currently out of a studio home office the business has the capacity to take on a limited staff and to address small to medium size design projects. Starting in 1999, BritasMedia entered the online publishing world with the introduction of the Web site Architosh. The site has received critical acclaim as the world's first dedicated site devoted to architects using the Macintosh computer platform and has won its first two site awards from major publishing editors.

The firm's activities are supported by a range of traditional drawing, drafting and modeling equipment, in addition to an up-to-date cross-platform local area network with high-speed Internet accesss. The firm utilizes a range of Adobe, Macromedia, FileMaker, Apple and Microsoft software for design and business needs. In-house CAD plotting is done on an HP DesignJet 650C for large format color CAD and graphics work.

Magazine format. Like a multi-column periodical, this site is structured for changing content, including the MP--Main Page.
