View from Charles River

In the summer of 1998, Ellenzweig Associates, Inc. architects was invited to participate in an "ideas competition" for the new MIT Sloan School of Business Management.

The competition field consisted of a small selection of internationally distinguished architects from around the world. BritasMedia's charge was to produce the single competition model for the presentation and subsequent exhibit. Using a very limited palette of color and materials, a hybrid conceptual-finished model was produced on-site so that the design team could be immediately responsive to the model as it was being executed.

Although BritasMedia typically produces finished design models in-house, in this case onsite model building was vital to the successful completion of the presentation materials.
